Multiple-Step Melting/Irradiation: A Strategy to Fabricate Thermoplastic Polymers with Improved Mechanical Performance.
TL;DR: Based on the influence of local crosslinked points on the ductility and strength, thermoplastic PVDF with much higher elongation at break and comparable yielding stress (relative to the reference specimen upon strong irradiation only once) was prepared via MUSMI successfully.

Preparation method of quaternary ammonium salt modified antibacterial textile and antibacterial textile
Chen Chuanhong,Jingye Li,Luo Hongwen,Ming Yu,Ziqiang Wang,Xiaojun Ding,Liang Weiyang,Ji Zuo,Feng Yulong +8 more
- 05 Apr 2019
TL;DR: In this article, a quaternary ammonium salt modified antibacterial textile is used for the preparation of a textile base material, which is then grafted onto the textile with a high grafting rate to achieve stable and efficient broad-spectrum antibacterial and sterilizing effects.
