Techno-economic and social analysis of energy storage for commercial buildings
TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented a technical and economic evaluation of energy storage systems applied for commercial buildings in order to determine power rating and capacity, and the technical and economical evaluations are described to analyze the techno-economic feasibility by the financial indices: net present value, internal rate of return, and initial investment payback period.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a compressed air electric power energy storage system achieving hydraulic and pneumatic coupling, where a compressor unit compresses air into a constant-pressure air storage device, liquid in the constant voltage air storage devices is compressed into a variable-pressure storage device through a liquid pump, and accordingly electric energy is converted to air and liquid internal energy for storage.

TL;DR: In this article, an isothermal-isobaric compressed air energy storage system was proposed, where an air compressor is used for compressing air into an underwater flexible air storage device at low electricity loads, thus the electrical energy is converted into the internal energy of the air and stored; and the high-pressure air in the air storage devices are subjected to heat-absorption by a heat exchanger and are used for driving a generator to generate electricity through an expansion engine at high electricity loads.
