Association of procalcitonin levels with the progression and prognosis of hospitalized patients with COVID-19.
Zeming Liu,Jinpeng Li,Shipei Wang,Danyang Chen,Wen Zeng,Sichao Chen,Yihui Huang,Jianglong Huang,Wei Long,Man Li,Rongfen Gao,Liang Guo,Xiaohui Wu +12 more
TL;DR: PCT level was shown as an independent risk factor of in-hospital mortality among COVID-19 patients and may provide guidance for improving the prognosis of patients with critically severe CO VID-19.

Abnormal Fibrinogen Level as a Prognostic Indicator in Coronavirus Disease Patients: A Retrospective Cohort Study
Wei Long,Jie Yang,Zhengwei Li,Jinpeng Li,Sichao Chen,Danyang Chen,Shipei Wang,Qianqian Li,Di Hu,Jianglong Huang,Wen Zeng,Liang Guo,Xiaohui Wu +12 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the role of Fibrinogen (FIB) levels in the prognosis of COVID-19 patients was examined, and it was shown that an elevated FIB level was associated with a greater risk of developing critical disease (odds ratio: 2.16, 95% CI: 1.04-4.46, P = 0.033).
No Longer Outside, Not Yet Equal: Rethinking China's Membership in the World Trade Organization
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors argued that, in Dispute Settlement Body cases involving China's WTO-plus obligations, restrictive interpretation should generally be used to determine the meaning of an ambiguous provision, as a value-oriented interpretative approach in favour of the equilibrium of rights and obligations of China and in deference to the uniformity and integrity of the WTO legal system.
Comparing the Value of Cystatin C and Serum Creatinine for Evaluating the Renal Function and Predicting the Prognosis of COVID-19 Patients
Sichao Chen,Jinpeng Li,Zeming Liu,Danyang Chen,Ling Zhou,Di Hu,Man Li,Wei Long,Yihui Huang,Jianglong Huang,Shipei Wang,Qianqian Li,Wen Zeng,Liang Guo,Xiaohui Wu +14 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of abnormal renal function on admission on prognosis of COVID-19 patients and the prognostic value of various renal function indicators was evaluated, and it was shown that elevated cystatin C levels on admission were independent predictors of disease severity (p < 0.001), and elevated creatinine levels were independent predictor of death (p = 0.020).
