Structural Basis for Inhibiting Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Virus Replication with the 3C-Like Protease Inhibitor GC376.
TL;DR: The anti-PEDV effect of the broad-spectrum inhibitor GC376 (targeting 3Cpro or 3CLpro of viruses in the picornavirus-like supercluster) was highly effective and exerted similar inhibitory effects on two PEDV strains.

Receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitors block proliferation of TGEV mainly through p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase pathways.
Wanyu Dong,Wenting Xie,Yunbo Liu,Baokun Sui,Hao Zhang,Liran Liu,Yubei Tan,Xiaohan Tong,Zhen F. Fu,Ping Yin,Liurong Fang,Guiqing Peng +11 more
TL;DR: A9 is identified as a robust inhibitor of transmissible gastroenteritis virus (TGEV) infection in cell-based assays and its inhibitory activity against TGEV replication mainly occurs by targeting p38, which provides vital clues to the design of novel drugs against CoVs.

Structural Characterization of the Helicase nsp10 Encoded by Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus.
Yuejun Shi,Xiaohan Tong,Gang Ye,Ruixue Xiu,Lisha Li,Limeng Sun,Jiale Shi,Mengxia Li,Yunfeng Song,Chengpeng Fan,Ke Shi,Zhen F. Fu,Zhen F. Fu,Shaobo Xiao,Guiqing Peng +14 more
TL;DR: The first crystal structure of full-length nsp10 from the arterivirus PRRSV, which has multiple domains: an N-terminal zinc-binding domain (ZBD), a 1B domain, and helicase core domains 1A and 2A is reported, which will provide a structural basis for further understanding the function of helicases in the order Nidovirales.
