Large in-plane piezoelectricity of Janus Bi2X2Y (X = S, Se, te; Y = S, Se, te; X ≠ Y) monolayers with polyatomic thickness
TL;DR: In this article, the piezoelectric properties of 2D Bi2X2Y and Bi2Te2S monolayers with polyatomic thickness have been investigated, and it is shown that these materials have potential in the application of micro-nano piezolectric devices and flexible electronic devices.

Highly adjustable piezoelectric properties in two-dimensional LiAlTe2 by strain and stacking
TL;DR: Li et al. as discussed by the authors systematically studied the piezoelectric properties of 2D LiAlTe2 by using the first-principles calculation and found that the two-dimensional LiAlTE2monolayer exhibits both large in-plane (3.73 pm V-1) and out-ofplane (0.97 pm V1).
