Heavy metal(loid)s shape the soil bacterial community and functional genes of desert grassland in a gold mining area in the semi-arid region.
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors assessed the ecological risk of Hatu gold mining activities and synchronously investigated the bacterial community structure, distribution of soil nutrient-element cycling genes (CNPS) and heavy metal resistance genes (MRG) in adjacent desert grassland soil.
