Fabrication of Superhydrophobic Surfaces on Engineering Materials by a Solution‐Immersion Process
TL;DR: In this article, superhydrophobic surfaces on engineering materials are prepared via a convenient solution-immersion method, where binary geometric structures at the micro-and nanometer scale bestow super-hydrophobicity on the surfaces.

FeCo–Nx embedded graphene as high performance catalysts for oxygen reduction reaction
TL;DR: In this paper, the half-wave potential of the FeCo-N-rGO was shown to be 46mV positive in alkaline medium and 119mV negative in acidic medium.

A new convergent approach to dendritic macromolecules
Xiao-Ping Cao,Feng Wang,Shu Guo +2 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a convergent growth approach to dendritic macromolecules is described, where polyether sectors [G-na]-OH from the first to the fourth generations were prepared by this approach from readily available starting material.

Efficient Aryl Migration from an Aryl Ether to a Carboxylic Acid Group To Form an Ester by Visible-Light Photoredox Catalysis.
TL;DR: A novel approach to the C-O cleavage of a biaryl ether to form two phenolic compounds, as demonstrated by a one-pot, two-step gram-scale reaction under mild conditions.

Tribenzotriquinacenes bearing six-fold benzofuran extensions: electron-rich C3v-symmetrical hosts for C60.
TL;DR: New tribenzotriquinacene hosts bearing six-fold peripheral benzofuran functionalization have been synthesized and were shown to operate optically independently and to generate deeply bowl-shaped C(3v)-symmetrical frameworks that act as relatively weak hosts toward C(60), as revealed by (1)H NMR spectroscopy.
