Sugarcane leaf-stalk separating technology: A critical review

The invention discloses an integral-stalk tip-breaking leaf-peeling and leaf-crushing integrated mechanism for a sugarcane harvester, which comprises a leaf-harrowing roller, leaf-peeling rollers, a leaf-crushing roller, an inputting roller, an outputting roller, tip-breaking devices, a rack and a transmitting mechanism. The integral-stalk tip-breaking leaf-peeling and leaf-crushing integrated mechanism is characterized in that the tip-breaking devices are of three levels of tip-breaking devices; the inputting roller, the leaf-harrowing roller, the three-level tip-breaking device, the leaf-peeling rollers, the leaf-crushing roller and the outputting roller are arranged on the rack from front to back; the transmitting mechanism adopts a chain wheel, belt wheel and gear drive combined structure; the first level of tip-breaking device of the three levels of tip-breaking devices is arranged below the front of the leaf-peeling rollers, and positioned at the lower part of a sugarcane channel; the second level of tip-breaking device is arranged between the leaf-harrowing roller and the leaf-peeling rollers, and positioned at the upper part of the sugarcane channel; and the third level oftip-breaking device is arranged between two pairs of leaf-peeling rollers, and positioned at the lower part of the sugarcane channel. The integral-stalk tip-breaking leaf-peeling and crushing integrated mechanism can complete tip-breaking, leaf-peeling and crushing working processes at the same time, and can be used for carrying out operation on a plurality of parallel sugarcanes simultaneously.

Disclosed is a husking, breaking and conveying device of a sugarcane harvester. Each husking roll with husking toothed discs is provided with at least one husking and conveying unit. Each husking and conveying unit comprises two conveying rolls with annular grooves, while the two conveying rolls are arranged above and below a sugarcane conveying way respectively, two husking rolls arranged above and below the sugarcane conveying way respectively are arranged behind the two conveying rolls, and a breaking cutter roll with a plurality of cutter discs extending to different gaps among the husking toothed discs of the each husking roll is mounted on one side of the husking roll. The conveying rolls of each husking and conveying unit are connected with and driven by a power machine through a mechanical transmission device, the husking rolls and the breaking cutter rolls of each husking and conveying unit are connected with and driven by another power machine through a mechanical transmission device and are controlled via a controller. Compared with the prior art, the husking, breaking and conveying device solves the problems of proneness to blockage, low husking efficiency and incomplete husking of the husking and conveying device of an existing harvester for integral sugarcanes.

The laws of influence of different factors have been analyzed in order to enhance the working efficiency and fatigue life of the cleaning element in brush shape of the sugarcane harvester.Based on the principle of orthogonal experiment design, the virtual-orthogonal-experimental analysis for the cleaning element is carried out on the finite element analysis (FEA) software-ANSYS after analyzing the nonlinear structural behavior in the working procedure. The results are analyzed with the overall balancing method, and then the optimal combination is got, which is made up of different levels of different factors. Also the optimal combination of design parameters of the cleaning element received from the virtual experimental analysis is conducted an experiment to confirm that the virtual analysis model and results are right, and the effect of factors on the function of the cleaning element is obtained by more analysis and further optimizing.

The integrated mechanism can simultaneously accomplish the working flows including: end breaking, leaf stripping and leaf shattering and also process a plurality of cranes side by side.

The broken bearings and great noise and vibration often occurs with the small sugarcane harvester transfer case when it starts up working. To analyze the startup status of the transfer case conveniently and quickly, the finite element transient structure analysis is carried out. with virtual prototype technology to simulate the transfer case's startup dynamic process and measure the instantaneous load values. Stress distribution and load variation analysis results show that during startup, the stress concentration of node load increases rapidly with gear speed rising transiently. The maximum value that lying on the underside of the bearing base goes beyond the allowable range before dropping sharply to approach the steady state with stress within the allowable range. Therefore, at startup the impact load of the transfer case increases far greater than in the steady state which deteriorate the structure stress condition seriously. The strength of the transfer case is then enriched by structural improvement accordingly to reduce maximum stress 36.8%, the maximum deviation 18.5% and the vibration up to30%, improving the bearings working reliability notably.
