Synthesis, structure, and magnetic properties of two 1-D helical coordination polymeric Cu(II) complexes
TL;DR: Two helical coordination polymeric copper(II) complexes bearing amino acid Schiff bases HL or HL′, which are condensed from 2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde with 2-aminobenzoic acid or l -valine, respectively, have been prepared and characterised by X-ray crystallography as discussed by the authors.

Synthesis, crystal structures and magnetic properties of two new nickel(II) complexes with α-amino acid Schiff base
TL;DR: In this paper, two nickel(II) complexes [Ni(napgly)(MeOH)] n (1) and [Ni[napphe)(H2O)2(MeOH] · H2O (2), where the tridentate Schiff-base ligands H2nap gly and H2 napphe are condensed from 2-hydroxyl-1-naphthaldehyde with glycine and L-phenylalanine, respectively, were prepared and structurally characterized.

{N,N′‐Bis[(5‐chloro‐2‐hydroxyphenyl)phenylmethylene]ethylendiaminato}nickel(II)
TL;DR: In this article, the NiII atom exists in a square-planar environment, coordinated by four atoms from the tetradentate ligand, which link the molecules in a chain along the a axis.

Diaquabis(d‐valinato‐κ2N,O)nickel(II)
TL;DR: In the title complex, diaquabis(2-amino-3-methylbutyrato-κ2N,O)nickel(II), the NiII atom (site symmetry 2) is octahedrally coordinated by two N,O-bidenate valinate ions and two water molecules.

Synthesis, Crystal Structure and Characterization of [ZnL2Cl2]·2H2O (L=N′‐Benzoylpyridine‐4‐hydrazide)
TL;DR: In this article, the zinc(II) ion is four coordinated in a distorted tetrahedron geometry, and the neighboring molecules are connected by the hydrogen bonds to form an infinite three-dimensional system.
