The attendance system found in an institution or university uses an id card, finger print or using the manual method. This method still has many shortcomings such as signature forgery, loss of ID cards, queue up which can waste a lot of time. In this study, a QR CODE-based Online Attendance System with REST architecture was developed which resulted inweb and mobile-based applications, so that students can make attendance more practical and efficient with their gadgets, besides that lecturers can monitor data and student attendance graph on a web-based application. The attendance System was developed using the REST architecture because the architecture is language and platformagnostic, so it can be used by many programming languages and many platforms, and the REST architecture has a design and philosophy closer to the web, using the HTTP protocol.

Any business these days need a mobile application connected with central database, like E-commerce, E-Learning, Restaurant applications …etc., and in order to create a professional application -connected with backend, Restful API is needed, therefore, choose the best languages, tools and frameworks to build a mobile application in the client side, and Database, API and Dashboard in the backend is crucial. this paper proposed a model to create a Cross-platform mobile application using Flutter Framework with some packages like http to connect with API, (flutter_secure_storage) to store a token and (GetX) for state management and MVC Architectural style, beside using Laravel framework with MySQL database to build an Restful API and the dashboard in the backend, and for make a system for Rules and permissions, Spatie package has been used  with Laravel, as well as use Sanctum for Authentication and Authorization system to protect the APIs with JWT, the result is build a full stack application (frontend and Backend)  called (My Services), which is a kind of Ecommerce application for services only in less than one month.

A Proposed Model for Build a Secure Restful API to Connect between Server Side and Mobile Application Using Laravel Framework with Flutter Toolkits

Smart farming is the practice of intelligent agricultural management based on technological data gathered from farm practice for the purpose of increased levels of quality, production and environmental protection. The Internet of Things (IoT) technology is revolutionized in various aspects of agriculture around the world and its application found success in some countries. In this paper, a non-invasive and non-contact estrus detection system integrated IoT technology to improve the detection efficiency of standing-heat behaviors of cows is proposed. The outcome of this study will improve the farm’s management practices through the integration of IoT technology that can remotely monitor the activities of the cows and provide data for analysis and evaluation, will increase the likelihood of future estrus instances for every correct prediction, and will improve the fertility and milk production rates of the cows. Such benefits can contribute to the growth and development of the dairy cattle industry in the Philippines. This study also shows the application of IoT in improving the detection efficiency of standing-heat behaviors of cows through automated detection using Pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) cameras and a Python-driven Web Application. The dimensions of the barn are measured, and the Cameras' Field of Views (FOVs) is pre-calculated for the strategic positions of the cameras atop of the cowshed. The program detects the cows and any estrus events through the surveillance cameras. The result is sent to the cloud server to display on the web application for analysis. The web app allows updates on cow information, inseminations, pregnancy, and calving records, estimate travel time from the user's geolocation to the farm, provide live monitoring and remote camera accessibility and control through the cameras and deliver reliable cross-platform push-notification and call alerts on the user's device(s) whenever an estrus event is detected. The system initially and correctly detected 4 standing-heat signs, but with 2 false predictions and identifications leading to 2 “True Positive” and 2 “False Positive” results, attaining a 50% detection efficiency. Based on the results, the program performed satisfactorily at 50% detection efficiency.

Smart Dairy Cattle Farming and In-Heat Detection through the Internet of Things (IoT)

This paper contributes to smart greenhouses and IoT (Internet of Things) research. Our pioneering achievement centers on successfully designing, constructing, and testing a 30m2 smart greenhouse, explicitly focusing on the cultivation and development of Brassica Juncea, a mustard variety commonly grown in Vietnam. The construction phase entailed the meticulous integration of diverse IoT technologies and systems, culminating in the creation of a finely tuned environment to meet the unique needs of Brassica Juncea cultivation. Notably, our research team has realized the physical infrastructure and developed and implemented a robust web interface. This interface empowers users to monitor and remotely control the smart greenhouse conveniently. It provides real-time visualization of critical parameters, including temperature, humidity, soil moisture, and light intensity, enabling precise monitoring and supporting informed decision-making in crop management. In addition to the web interface, we have meticulously designed and completed an Android mobile application, further enhancing accessibility and convenience. This mobile app allows users to monitor and control the smart greenhouse while on the move. It is imperative to underscore that this work marks a significant milestone as the first complete smart greenhouse IoT solution dedicated to developing Brassica Juncea. Our pioneering accomplishments not only advance the frontiers of innovative greenhouse and IoT research but also contribute substantially to the progress of intelligent agriculture.

Due to the rapid popularization of web service, which is progressing and continuously increasing, testing of web service has become a basic necessity to maintain high quality of web service. The testing of the performance of Web service based applications is attracting extensive attention. In order to evaluate the performance of web services, it is essential to evaluate the QoS (Quality of Service) attributes such as interoperability, reusability, auditability, maintainability, accuracy and performance to improve the quality of service. The purpose of this study is to introduce the systematic literature review of web services testing techniques to evaluate the QoS attributes to make the testing technique better. With the intention of better testing quality in web services, this systematic literature review intends to evaluate what QoS parameters are necessary to provide better quality assurance. The focus of systematic literature is also to make sure that quality of testing can be encouraged for the present and future. Consequently, the main attention and motivation of the study is to provide an overview of recent research efforts of web service testing techniques from the research community. Each testing technique in web services has identified apparent standards, benefits, and restrictions. This systemic literature review provides a different testing resolution to industry to decide which testing technique is the most efficient and effective with the testing assignment agenda with available resources. As for the significance, it can be said that web service testing technique are still broadly open for improvements.

The basic task of the logistics distribution center is to achieve the storage and distribution of materials, and to plan, implement, and manage the effective flow of materials from the supplying place to the consumption place. Scientific location of logistics distribution center can effectively reduce logistics cost, improve the speed of circulation, increase the profits of enterprises, and enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises. Combining the advantages of K-means clustering algorithm, this paper applies it to the location problem of logistics distribution center and proposes a logistics distribution center location method combining K-means clustering theory and D-S reasoning, which provides a better solution for the location problem of logistics distribution center. Through case analysis, K-means clustering algorithm can obtain reasonable location of logistics distribution center, which can be applied to the location of multilevel logistics distribution network, and has certain practical application value.
