Microbiome and metabolome dysbiosis of the gut-lung axis in pulmonary hypertension.
Jiyuan Chen,Dansha Zhou,Jinrui Miao,Chenting Zhang,Xiang Li,Huazhuo Feng,Yue Xing,Zizhou Zhang,Changlei Bao,Ziying Lin,Yuqin Chen,Jason X.-J. Yuan,Dejun Sun,Kai-Chien Yang,Jian Wang +14 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors established a left pulmonary artery ligation (LPAL)-induced pulmonary hypertension (PH) rat model and investigated the association between gut microbiota composition and host metabolome signatures (in both gut and lung tissues) by using multiomics and correlation analysis.

Sodium Tanshinone IIA Sulfonate Enhances the BMP9-BMPR2-Smad1/5/9 Signaling Pathway in Rat Pulmonary Microvascular Endothelial Cells and Human Embryonic Stem Cell-derived Endothelial Cells.
Jian Wang,Wenyan Liu,Wenju Lu,Xiaoyun Luo,Yong Lin,Shiyun Liu,Jing Qian,Chenting Zhang,Haixia Chen,Yi Li,Xiang Li,Jiyuan Chen,Yuqin Chen,Qian Jiang,Chunli Liu,Cheng Hong,Tao Wang,Haiyang Tang,Nanshan Zhong,Jun Yang,Kai-Chien Yang,Dejun Sun +21 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the effects and mechanisms of STS on pulmonary vascular endothelial dysfunction were investigated using a chronic hypoxia-induced pulmonary hypertension (HPH) rat model, as well as in primarily cultured rat PMVECs and human ESC-ECs cell models.

Prediction and prognosis of adverse maternal and foetal/neonatal outcomes in pulmonary hypertension: an observational study and nomogram construction
Yuqin Chen,Dansha Zhou,Mingmei Xiong,X. Xi,Wenni Zhang,Ruifeng Zhang,Lishi Chen,Qian Jiang,Ning Lai,Xiang Li,Jieer Luo,Xuanyi Li,Weici Feng,Chuhui Gao,Jiyuan Chen,Xin Fu,Wei Hong,Meifang Jiang,Kai-Chien Yang,Wenju Lu,Yiping Luo,Jun Zhang,Zhe Cheng,Chunli Liu,Jian Wang +24 more
TL;DR: Predictive and prognostic nomograms were constructed using data from a "Development" cohort of 420 pregnant patients with pulmonary hypertension, recorded between January 2009 and December 2018 as mentioned in this paper , where logistic regression analysis established models to predict the probability of adverse maternal and foetal/neonatal events and overall survival by Cox analysis.
Upregulation of mechanosensitive channel Piezo1 involved in high shear stress-induced pulmonary hypertension.
Jiyuan Chen,Jinrui Miao,Dansha Zhou,Jing Liao,Ziyi Wang,Ziying Lin,Chenting Zhang,Xiaoyun Luo,Yi Li,Xiang Li,Shiyun Liu,Yue Xing,Zizhou Zhang,Manjia Zhao,Sophia Parmisano,Yuqin Chen,Jason X.-J. Yuan,Kai-Chien Yang,De-hai Sun,Jian Wang +19 more
TL;DR: The upregulation of Piezo1 in both PASMCs and ECs coordinates with each other via different cell signaling pathways to cause pulmonary vascular remodeling in LPAL-PH rats, providing novel insights into the cell-type specific pathogenic roles of Piezos1 in shear stress-associated experimental PH.
RNA sequencing screening of differentially expressed genes after spinal cord injury.
TL;DR: RNA sequencing technology was used to analyze differentially expressed genes at different time points after spinal cord injury in rat models established by contusion of the eighth thoracic segment and results indicate that the level of protein expression of C5ar1 was consistent with its nucleic acid level after spinal cords injury.
