Genome-wide identification of chitin-binding proteins and characterization of BmCBP1 in the silkworm, Bombyx mori.
Zhi-Lang Li,Sha Tian,Huan Yang,Xia Zhou,Shuping Xu,Ziyu Zhang,Jing Gong,Yong Hou,Qingyou Xia +8 more
TL;DR: Results provide a genome‐level view of the chitin‐binding protein in silkworm and suggest that BmCBP1 participates in the formation of the new cuticle during molting.

[Analysis of molting fluid in silkworm (Bombyx mori) by two-dimensional electrophoresis and mass spectrometry].
TL;DR: The results showed that the gene encoding apolipoprotein D had the high expression from the 1st day to the 4th day of the pupa stage, which indicated they could be involved in eclosion due to the abundant accumulation in the late pupa.

Can botulinum toxin injection alleviate the pain of bruxism? A Bayesian network analysis and a single-arm analysis
Aoxue Zhang,Jian-Yun Zhang,Xia Zhou,Li-sha Sun,Tie Li +4 more
TL;DR: BTA significantly relieves the pain of bruxism for 6 months after injection, and its therapeutic efficacy was higher than that of oral splinting.

Transcriptional Response of Silkworm (Bombyx mori) Eggs to O₂ or HCl Treatment.
TL;DR: The results improved the understanding of the mechanism of diapause blocking in silkworm eggs treated with O2 or HCl and identified novel molecular targets for future studies.
Disruption of LLM9428/OsCATC Represses Starch Metabolism and Confers Enhanced Blast Resistance in Rice
Yongxiang Liao,Asif Ali,Zhe-Yong Xue,Xia Zhou,Wenwei Ye,Daiming Guo,Yingxiu Liao,Pengfei Jiang,Tingkai Wu,Hongyu Zhang,Peizhou Xu,Xiaoqiong Chen,Haomi ng Zhou,Yutong Liu,Wenming Wang,Xianjun Wu +15 more
TL;DR: A novel role of OsCATC in starch metabolism in addition to validating previously studied functions of CATs is revealed, showing the phenotype of LMMs and reduced starch metabolism.
