Highly Stable Acid-Induced Emission-Enhancing Cd-MOFs: Synthesis, Characterization, and Detection of Glutamic Acid in Water and Fe Ions in Acid.
TL;DR: In this article, two 3D fluorescent metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), [Cd(L)(bbibp)]n (1) and [Cc(L) 0.5]n (2), where H2L = 4,4'-(4,4)-bipyridine-2,6-diyl)dibenzoic acid and bbibp = 4.4'-bis(benzoimidaz-1-yl)biphenyl, were acquired through a conventional method and characterized via IR spect

Syntheses, structural diversity and photocatalytic properties of various Co(II) coordination polymers based on a “V”-shaped 1,3-di(4′-carboxyl-phenyl)benzene acid and different imidazole bridging ligands
TL;DR: In this article, four novel Co(II) coordination polymers (CPs) based on a V-shaped 1,3-di(4,4′-phenyl)benzene acid (H2dpb) were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), thermogravimetric (TG) analysis and single-crystal X-Ray diffraction.

Induction of tumor cell apoptosis by taurine Schiff base copper complex is associated with the inhibition of proteasomal activity
TL;DR: The results strongly suggest that taurine Schiff base copper complexes, as potent proteasome inhibitors, have great potential to be developed into novel anticancer drugs.

Chuanbin Fan,Xia Zhang,Nana Li,Cungang Xu,Ruixue Wu,Bin Zhu,Guanglong Zhang,Shuangyu Bi,Yuhua Fan +8 more
TL;DR: Six novel and stable Zn(II) metal-organic frameworks (Zn-MOFs), namely Zn MOFs 1-6, revealed a highly sensitive and selective fluorescence quenching effect on Fe3+ ions in aqueous solution, but also toughed the interference of a myriad of other metal ions.
