Migration of Harmful Elements in Municipal Sludge Under High Temperature Oxidation Conditions

Vehicles pass unsignalized intersections based on drivers' judgments of collision risk, which often cause traffic conflict. The vehicle-vehicle communication technology can provide a new way to reduce the collision risk at unsignalized intersections. The object of this paper is to propose a vehicle-vehicle conflict detection algorithm and criterions of risk severity judgment based on the vehicle-vehicle information interaction. By using sensors and communication device, vehicles can get their own and other's status information. Trajectories of vehicles predicted by supposed that vehicles keep moving with current motion state. Predicted trajectories are used to judge whether conflicts exist. Time to collision is applied to determine the severity of conflict. The simulation results show that proposed method is feasible.

The braking performance is one of the most important active safety performances of vehicle, which plays a key role in the traffic safety. It is necessary to research on braking efficiency and it becomes a hotspot to express the braking performance scientifically and rationally. To improve braking capability and efficiency of vehicle disk brake, a multi-objective optimization model with the lowest braking temperature and the largest braking torque as the objective function was proposed. The model was on the basis of property indexes and restraints needed for disk brake designing. The example to verify its fitness was provided and Genetic Algorithm (GA) in Matlab optimization toolbox was used for solving ideal result.

Abstract: We analyse the automatic braking system to reduce the speed automatically to avoid the panic action of automobiles. Stop the vehicle when it is in the accidental zone, we applied the velocity calculation according to the weight of the body which can reach to required velocity state to avoid the accident. We are using the electromagnetic braking system to reduce the speed of vehicle it is about meet the accident. In this we achieve a better braking system and also it is relevant to future automobiles. The prototype has been prepared depicting the technology and tested as per the simulated conditions. In future the actual model may be developed depending on its feasibility

Automatic Speed Reduction to Avoid Accidents

Service braking test and evaluation are of importance for vehicle braking performance. The vehicle braking performance roadway test system was firstly designed in the paper, whose main instrument was GPS-based VBOX III. Then the systematic vehicle braking performance tests were conducted on the vehicle proving ground. Based on the real straight-line braking test data, two indexes, braking distance and mean fully developed deceleration (MFDD) according to rules and regulations for braking performance test, were analyzed respectively and comparatively. The results shows that, MFDD index can avoid the effect of driver's operation or braking system reaction time on braking performance, so this evaluation method is more objective. However, braking distance index reflects the comprehensive effecting of human-vehicle system and obtains the integrated evaluation.
