Waveform Design for 5G Networks: Analysis and Comparison
Yinsheng Liu,Xia Chen,Zhangdui Zhong,Bo Ai,Deshan Miao,Zhuyan Zhao,Jingyuan Sun,Yong Teng,Hao Guan +8 more
TL;DR: This paper will not only introduce the basic principles of the waveforms, but also reveal the underlying characteristics, which provides an overall understanding of the new waveforms.

Coded Tandem Spreading Multiple Access for Massive Machine-Type Communications
TL;DR: A novel grant-free NOMA approach, namely coded tandem spreading multiple access (CTSMA), which achieves both high connectivity and ultra-reliability at the expense of user data rate, and a closedform expression of the collision resolution capability is derived.

DFT-Spread Universal Filtered Multi-Carrier for 5G
Siyu Xi,Zhangdui Zhong,Yinsheng Liu,Xia Chen,Fanggang Wang,Deshan Miao +5 more
- 01 Oct 2016
TL;DR: An IAPR reduction method Discrete Fourier Transform-Spread UFMC (DFT-S-UFMC) is proposed, and simulation results show that UFmc has link level performance gain over DFT-S -UFMC, but I APR of DFT -S-UFMC is lower than UF MC.

Waveform Candidates for 5G Networks: Analysis and Comparison
Yinsheng Liu,Xia Chen,Zhangdui Zhong,Bo Ai,Deshan Miao,Zhuyan Zhao,Jingyuan Sun,Yong Teng,Hao Guan +8 more
TL;DR: This article will not only introduce the basic principles of the waveforms but also reveal the underlying characteristics of each waveform, which provide an overall understanding of the new waveforms.
Delay-Aware Dynamic Resource Allocation in High-Speed Railway Networks
Yan Lei,Gang Zhu,Chao Shen,Xia Chen,Jingjing Xu,Yanqing Xu,Xiaozhou Zhang +6 more
- 15 May 2016
TL;DR: This paper investigates the downlink resource allocation problem for multimedia services delivery in HSR orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) system as a mixed integer non-linear programming (MINLP), which aims at maximizing the system throughput over a trip of the train.
