Influence of bonded mortar of recycled concrete aggregates on interfacial characteristics – Porosity assessment based on pore segmentation from backscattered electron image analysis
TL;DR: In this article, the porosity assessment of bonded mortar of recycled aggregates (RA) is done by backscattered electron (BSE) image analysis, for the first time.

Effect of LiNO2 inhibitor on corrosion characteristics of steel rebar in saturated Ca(OH)(2) solution containing NaCl: An electrochemical study
Hwa-Sung Ryu,Jitendra Kumar Singh,Jitendra Kumar Singh,Han-Seung Lee,Mohamed A. Ismail,Won-Jun Park +5 more
TL;DR: LiNO2 was evaluated by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and potentiodynamic studies in this article, which showed 63.67% efficiency at [Cl−/NO2−] = 0.6 in Ca(OH)2 solution contaminated with 0.99 g/L NaCl.

Development of a Prediction Model for Demolition Waste Generation Using a Random Forest Algorithm Based on Small DataSets.
Gi-Wook Cha,Hyeun Jun Moon,Young Min Kim,Won-Hwa Hong,Jung-Ha Hwang,Won-Jun Park,Young-Chan Kim +6 more
TL;DR: This study uses machine learning algorithms to predict C&D waste generation from a dataset, and the proposed RF model can predict DW generation using a small amount of data, demonstrating the possibility of applying AI to multi-purpose DW management.

Risk evaluation for recycled aggregate according to deleterious impurity content considering deconstruction scenarios and production methods
TL;DR: In this paper, the risk associated with the presence of impurities in recycled aggregate concrete was defined as including the amount of impurity residue in the RA and the effects on RAC properties both impurity types and RA production methods were considered in assessing risk for five building demolition scenarios.
