Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor Treated CML Patients Harboring Philadelphia-Negative Cytogenetically Aberrant Clones Show Molecular Mutations In 31% Of Cases Not Present At Diagnosis: A High-Throughput Amplicon Sequencing Study Of 29 Genes
Sabrina Kuznia,Manja Meggendorfer,Niroshan Nadarajah,Sabine Jeromin,Tamara Alpermann,Andreas Roller,Andreia Albuquerque,Sandra Weissmann,Thomas Ernst,Christiane Eder,Frank Dicker,Wolfgang Kern,Alexander Kohlmann,Torsten Haferlach,Andreas Hochhaus,Claudia Haferlach +15 more
TL;DR: Whether TKI-treated CML patients who developed Ph- clones also harbour molecular mutations was analyzed to evaluate whether these mutations were already present at diagnosis of CML.

Targeted Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) Enables a Broad Screening of 95 Molecular Mutations In a One-Step Approach and Detects Recurrent Mutations In AML with a Normal Karyotype In MYH11 and NOTCH1
Alexander Kohlmann,Vera Grossmann,Hans-Ulrich Klein,Susanne Schnittger,Martin Dugas,Wolfgang Kern,Claudia Haferlach,Torsten Haferlach +7 more
TL;DR: To detect novel recurrent mutations in AML-NK, DNA sequence enrichment from complex genomic samples using microarrays was performed to enable a targeted Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) analysis and 13 nonsynonymous mutations were found in 11/95 genes analyzed.
