Proses penentuan kenaikan jabatan pada saat ini masih dilakukan secara subjektif dan atas dasar penilaian yang sudah ditentukan oleh perusahaan, sehingga terkadang menyebabkan ketidakpuasaan dan ketidakadilan serta menimbulkan pertanyaan. Dengan adanya sistem pendukung keputusan penentuan kenaikan jabatan ini maka kriteria-kriteria penentuan menjadi lebih jelas dan keputusan yang dihasilkan menjadi lebih akurat karena telah sesuai dengan fakta/kenyataan yang ada. Metode penyelesaian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Multi-Factor Evaluation Process (MFEP). Pada metode MFEP ini pengambilan keputusan dilakukan dengan memberikan pertimbangan subyektif dan intuitif terhadap faktor yang dianggap penting. Adapun alat bantu dalam penelitian ini adalah Bahasa Pemrograman Java dan Flowchart, DFD dan ERD.

Kehidupan manusia tidak pernah luput dari istilah risiko dan bermacam-macam risiko yang dihadapin manusia. Adapun salah satu mengantisipasi risko tersebut adalah dengan mengikuti produk Asuransi Prudential. Prudential Indonesia adalah Produk Asuransi bagian Prudential plc, sebuah Grup Perusahaan Jasa Keuangan terkemuka di Inggris. Berkembang di Indonesia bertujuan untuk menyediakan berbagai produk dan layanan keuangan para nasabahnya di Indonesia. Dari sekian banyak Produk Prudential, terdapat produk-produk terbaik Prudential, salah satunya kategori jenis Asuransi Jiwa Berjangka. Produk-produk Prudential berdasarkan jenis Asuransi Jiwa Berjangka memiliki keunggulan dan manfaat yang berbeda. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode AHP (Analytic Hirearchy Process) untuk menentukan Produk Prudential terbaik berdasarkan jenis Asuransi Jiwa Berjangka. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah nilai Produk PRUsave Gruad lebih baik dibandingkan Produk PRUlife Cover dengan nilai 0,529 untuk asuransi kecelakaan nasabah. Namun tidak berarti PRUlife Cover tidak lebih baik, manfaat yang diberikan oleh PRUlife Cover lebih cenderung ke cacat yang diakibatkan dari kecelakaan. Maka dari Penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa metode yang diberikan oleh AHP dapat memberikan saran untuk nasabah dalam memilih produk yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan nasabah.

A Literature Review of Music in Computer Science

Penentuan tempat berlatih musik (studio musik) yang sesuai dengan keinginan masing-masing orang tidaklah mudah. Sebelum menentukan studio yang disewa, terlebih dahulu mencari informasi tentang lokasi-lokasi penyewaan studio musik, kemudian membandingkan dan memilih studio tersebut sesuai dengan kriteria. Dari hal tersebut dapat dikembangkan sebuah sistem pendukung keputusan untuk menentukan tempat penyewaan studio musik yang tepat menggunakan metode SAW (Simple Additive Weighting). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode SAW, karena metode tersebut lebih cepat digunakan, simple dan spesifik, serta dalam pembobotannya langsung tertuju pada nilai bobot dan dilakukan perangkingan. Kriteria yang dibutuhkan untuk pengambilan keputusan yaitu harga, lokasi studio, jumlah studio, kelengkapan alat, keluasan studio, dan fasilitas. Hasil dari penelitian ini menghasilkan rekomendasi alternatif terbaik untuk pemilihan studio musik di Ponorogo.

Company PT. ALS is a ground transportation service company that transports passengers between cities and provinces. Buses from PT. ALS has been a mainstay and pride of the community, especially in its timely service in taking passengers to their destination. Promotion at PT. Currently, the ALS assessment process for selecting employee promotions is carried out by supervisors in each division who directly evaluate employee performance. Then in the process of selecting the position of the candidate who has the highest score based on certain criteria who will occupy the required position in accordance with the required criteria. Data calculations are done manually using Microsoft Excel but have not used the computer system optimally. The basis for this research is to help PT. ALS in making a decision in selecting employee promotions. Position is a group of positions that are almost the same in an agency, institution or company. For employees, the results of the assessment can be used as feedback on work performance, so that they have a basis for consideration for planning their career development. This research will be conducted using the Multi Factor Evaluation Process method by processing several criteria for decision making. Meanwhile, on the other hand, the results of this assessment can be used by the company to base decision-making in terms of reward system (compensation), promotion, training and career planning.

Along with the increasing popularity of music, a lot of music lessons were made especially in Pematangsiantar. This makes consumers confused and needs information to decide which music lessons are suitable for their needs. So the author uses a Decision Support System with the Multi-Factor Evaluation Process (MFEP) method to facilitate decision making. MFEP is a method with emphasis on various factors and criteria that perform the calculation of weighting system where the calculation will be valuable for each factor that affects the decision making of data data to be processed. The MFEP method is also called a scaled score that requires a comparative norm to be interpreted qualitatively and this makes the advantages of the MFEP method. The previous criteria were Criteria Place C1 (C1), Music Facilities Criteria (C2), Price Criteria (C3), Criteria Schedule / time guidance (C4), Employee Service Criteria (C5). By using 4 Alternative Place of Music Les existed memematangsiantar include: Legato Art Center, Era Music Siantar, Grace Music Studio, C and C Music Education. Results of recommendation of Decision Support System in Recommending Place Les Music dipematangsiantar using method MFEP (Multifactor Evaluation Process). Which we write with first rank that is Legato Art Center .  It is expected that this research can help the consumer to get the right recommendation in choosing the place of music lesson in accordance with the cost of music lesson and music quality.
