Characterization of the complete plastid genome of Rauvolfia verticillata (Apocynaceae), with its phylogenetic analysis.
TL;DR: The first complete plastid genome sequence of the species reported here was 155,856 bp in length, and the result from phylogenetic analysis suggests that Rauvolfia is closely related to the genus Catharanthus.

Characterization of complete chloroplast genome of Angelica sinensis (Apiaceae), an endemic medical plant to China
TL;DR: The genome comprises a total of 128 genes, including 83 protein-coding genes, eight ribosomal RNA(rRNA) genes and 35 transfer RNA (t RNA) genes, and Phylogenetic inference indicated that A. sinensis was closely related to A. decursiva, A. nitida and A.dahurica.
Development and characterization of 16 novel microsatellite markers by Transcriptome sequencing for Angelica dahurica and test for cross-species amplification
TL;DR: The 16 newly developed loci microsatellite primers with RNA-Seq will be useful for further investigating population genetics of A. dahurica, cultivars and other members of this genus.
The complete chloroplast genome sequence of Ficus hirta (Moraceae).
TL;DR: The complete chloroplast (CP) genome of F. hirta is sequenced using Next Generation Sequencing technology (NGS) and a total of 130 genes were successfully annotated containing 85 protein-coding genes, 37 tRNA genes and 8 rRNA genes.
