Formal Aryne/Carbon Monoxide Copolymerization To Form Aromatic Polyketones/Polyketals
TL;DR: In this paper, a palladium-catalyzed alternating copolymerization of [2.2.1]oxabicyclic alkenes with carbon monoxide afforded isomer mixtures of polyketones 2ktn and polyketals 2ktl.

Formal aryne/ethylene copolymerization to form polyethylene containing o -arylene units in the main chain
TL;DR: Aryne/ethylene copolymerization using [221]oxabicyclic alkenes as aryne equivalents was reported in this paper, where the use of a bulky phosphine-sulfonate ligand was essential to obtain the desired copolymers with high molecular weight.
