Diffusion vs. Concentration of Chloride Ions in Concrete
Francisco J Presuel-Moreno,Wendy Arias,Victor Echevarria,Scott Shill,Yu-You Wu +4 more
- 01 Jun 2014
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the diffusion of chloride ions into concrete samples that were exposed in scenarios that simulated the splash, tidal, and immersed portions of a marine structure, with the solution ranging from brackish water to 10% seawater, to seawater.

Analysis and Estimation of Service Life of Corrosion Prevention Materials Using Diffusion, Resistivity and Accelerated Curing for New Bridge Structures - Volume 2: Accelerated Curing of Concrete With High Volume Pozzolans (Resistivity, Diffusivity and Compressive Strength)
Francisco J Presuel-Moreno,Yanbo Liu,Yu-You Wu,Wendy Arias +3 more
- 01 Dec 2013
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present results of the temperature effect via accelerated curing on durability properties (resistivity and diffusivity) and compressive strength of concrete with pozzolans or slag and the effect of these admixtures on microstructure and chemical compositions of concrete pore solution.
