A new strategy for the selective oxidation of alcohols catalyzed by a polyoxometalate-based hybrid surfactant in biphasic systems
TL;DR: An organic-inorganic hybrid surfactant can effectively emulsify an alcohol/water biphase system, promote the alcohol oxidation reaction by increasing the oil-water interface area, and exhibit better catalytic oxidation activity than the homogeneous polyoxometallate.

Environmentally benign multiphase solid–liquid–gas catalysis
TL;DR: In this paper, an organic-inorganic hybrid with certain interfacial activity was synthesized by using an alkoxysilane covalent modified POM, which can be adsorbed at the gas-liquid interface, and allows direct contact between the gas, oil and catalyst at the interface.

TL;DR: In this paper, a temperature-sensitive interface catalyst was proposed to solve the problem that a polyoxometallate cannot exhibit good catalytic performance in an emulsion catalytic oxidation system using H2O2 or O2 as the oxidant.

Zhang Yue,Bai Xueli,Wen Liang,Xin Huang,Hui-Yan Sun,Cai-Yun Feng,Zhao Yongxiang +6 more
- 24 Aug 2018
TL;DR: In this paper, a preparation method and application of a separable emulsion catalyst is described, aiming to solve the problems that a catalyst and a surfactant in an existing emulsion catalytic oxidation system taking H2O2 as an oxidant are difficult to recycle.
