MiRNA-21 has effects to protect kidney injury induced by sepsis.
Dian Fu,Jie Dong,Ping Li,Chaopeng Tang,Wen Cheng,Zhenyu Xu,Wen-Quan Zhou,Jing-Ping Ge,Chen Xia,Zhengyu Zhang +9 more
TL;DR: The results were shown that miRNA-21 over-expression had effects to protect kidney cell apoptosis induced by sepsis via PTEN/PI3K/AKT signaling pathway.

Costunolide Induces Autophagy and Apoptosis by Activating ROS/MAPK Signaling Pathways in Renal Cell Carcinoma.
TL;DR: It was found that Cos significantly suppressed renal carcinoma cell growth via stimulation of apoptosis and autophagy in a concentration-dependent manner, suggesting that Cos could be a beneficial anticarcinogenic agent.
Genome-wide screening and identification of long noncoding RNAs and their interaction with protein coding RNAs in bladder urothelial cell carcinoma.
Longxin Wang,Dian Fu,Yongbin Qiu,Xiaoxiao Xing,Feng Xu,Cong-Hui Han,Xiaofeng Xu,Zhi-Feng Wei,Zhengyu Zhang,Jing-Ping Ge,Wen Cheng,Hai-Long Xie +11 more
TL;DR: This study provides a large scale of co-expression between lncRNA and coding RNAs in bladder cancer cells and lays biological basis for further investigation.

NRP-1 expression in bladder cancer and its implications for tumor progression.
Wen Cheng,Dian Fu,Zhi-Feng Wei,Feng Xu,Xiaofeng Xu,You-Huang Liu,Jing-Ping Ge,Feng Tian,Cong-Hui Han,Zhengyu Zhang,Li-Ming Zhou +10 more
TL;DR: The study suggests that overexpression of NRP-1 may play an important role in the progression of BC, and N RP-1 expression may serve as a biomarker for poor prognosis for BC.

Downregulation of miR-129 in peripheral blood mononuclear cells is a diagnostic and prognostic biomarker in prostate cancer.
TL;DR: The results provide the first evidence that the miR-129 is significantly downregulated in prostate cancer patients and multivariate analysis confirmed that miR -129 is a novel independent prognostic factor for prostate cancer.
