TL;DR: It is found that a fluorescent dye that labels mitochondria, tetramethylrhodamine methyl ester perchlorate, could be used to selectively mark embryonic and neonatal rat cardiomyocytes, as well as mouse, marmoset and human PSC-derived cardiomers, and that the cells could subsequently be enriched (>99% purity) by fluorescence-activated cell sorting.

TL;DR: It is reported that the common marmoset embryonic stem cell line can also differentiate into cardiomyocytes and investigated their characteristics, which showed sinus node-like action potentials, and the beating rate was augmented by isoproterenol stimulation.

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that common marmoset embryonic stem (cmES) cells can be maintained on common Marmoset AF (cmAF) cells, implying that AF cells can replace MEFs in the routine maintenance of primate pluripotent stem cells.
