CircRNA inhibits DNA damage repair by interacting with host gene
Xiaolong Xu,Jingwei Zhang,Yihao Tian,Yang Gao,Xin Dong,Wenbo Chen,Xiaoning Yuan,Weinan Yin,Jinjing Xu,Ke Chen,Chunjiang He,Chunjiang He,Lei Wei +12 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that circSMARCA5 can bind to its parent gene locus, forming an R-loop, which results in transcriptional pausing at exon 15 of SMarCA5, which revealed a new regulatory mechanism for circRNA on its host gene and provided evidence that circ SMAR CA5 may serve as a therapeutic target for drug-resistant breast cancer patients.
MAGI2-AS3 inhibits breast cancer by downregulating DNA methylation of MAGI2
Xiaolong Xu,Xiaoning Yuan,Jiali Ni,Jing Guo,Yang Gao,Weinan Yin,Feng Li,Lei Wei,Jingwei Zhang +8 more
TL;DR: Gene structure and DNA methylation analysis results indicated that MAGI2‐AS3 may act as a cis‐acting regulatory element downregulating theDNA methylation level of the MAGI 2 promoter region, and the DNA demethylase TET1 inhibitor can reverse MAGI1‐ AS3 overexpression caused upregulation of MAGI3 and cellular effects.

Hypoxia-Associated Prognostic Markers and Competing Endogenous RNA Co-Expression Networks in Breast Cancer.
Peng-Ju Gong,You-Cheng Shao,Si-Rui Huang,Yi-Fan Zeng,Xiaoning Yuan,Jing-Jing Xu,Weinan Yin,Lei Wei,Jingwei Zhang +8 more
TL;DR: This research provides potential mechanisms into molecular-level understanding of tumor hypoxia and predicts that the two genes might act as tumor suppressor and oncogene in breast cancer patients.
Vinpocetine reduces cisplatin-induced acute kidney injury through inhibition of NF-κB pathway and activation of Nrf2/ARE pathway in rats
Wenjing Song,Weinan Yin,Liang Ding,Yang Gao,Jing-Jing Xu,Yan Yang,Xin He,Peng-Ju Gong,Lei Wei,Wenli Chen,Jingwei Zhang +10 more
TL;DR: Vinpocetine can confer protection of rat renal cells by inhibiting the NF–κB signaling pathway and activating the Nrf2/ARE signaling pathway, and is a promising therapeutic drug for the treatment of cisplatin-induced acute kidney injury.

Betulinic acid inhibits cell proliferation and migration in gastric cancer by targeting the NF-κB/VASP pathway.
Xiang Chen,Xiaoning Yuan,Zun Zhang,Peng-Ju Gong,Weinan Yin,Qi Jiang,Jing-Jing Xu,Xiaolong Xu,Yang Gao,Wenli Chen,Fang-fang Chen,Yihao Tian,Lei Wei,Jingwei Zhang +13 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that BA could inhibit the expression of VASP by negatively regulating NF-κB, thereby inhibiting the proliferation and migration of the GC cells.
