Human hair as a noninvasive matrix to assess exposure to micro-organic contaminants: State of the art review.
Shiyi Zhang,Xiao Yan,Bin Tang,Weikeng Luo,She-Jun Chen,Xiao-Jun Luo,Jing Zheng,Bixian Mai,Yunjiang Yu +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the reliability of monitoring MOCs in hair by surveying past reports from various categories of MOC, including chlorinated persistent organic contaminants (MOCs), brominated flame retardants, organophosphorus flame retardant, per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances, phthalate esters, bisphenols, and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, is discussed.

Fetal exposure to organic contaminants revealed by infant hair: A preliminary study in south China.
Fengshan Cai,Bin Tang,Jing Zheng,Xiao Yan,Weikeng Luo,Mian He,Xiao-Jun Luo,Mingzhong Ren,Yunjiang Yu,Bi-Xian Mai +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper , 57 infant hair samples were collected in Guangzhou, South China, to evaluate the levels and compositions of typical organic contaminants (OCs) in the fetus, with median concentrations approximately two times higher than those in maternal samples.

Typical organic contaminants in hair of adult residents between inland and coastal capital cities in China: Differences in levels and composition profiles, and potential impact factors.
Min Li,Bin Tang,Jing Zheng,Weikeng Luo,Shimao Xiong,Yan Ma,Mingzhong Ren,Yunjiang Yu,Xiao-Jun Luo,Bixian Mai +9 more
TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper investigated the differences in the levels and composition profiles of typical organic contaminants (OCs) in China, and the potential factors impacting the human exposure to OCs were also examined based on the relationship among the hair OC levels and the population characteristics and statistical indicators.

Tissue-specific and stereoselective accumulation of Dechlorane Plus isomers in two predator fish in a laboratory feeding study
Shui-Wen Yang,Shunbin Gu,Bin Tang,Yao Dang,R. Xu,Weikeng Luo,Jing Zheng,Mingzhong Ren,Yunjiang Yu +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the tissue-specific bioaccumulation of Dechlorane Plus (DP) isomers was investigated in two predator fish species (redtail catfish, RF; and oscar fish, OF) that were feeding on tiger barb (TB), which was exposed to syn-DP and anti-DP isomers.

Metabolomics perspectives into the co-exposure effect of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and metals on renal function: A meet-in-the-middle approach.
Qilong Liao,Lulu Huang,Fengshan Cai,Weikeng Luo,Min Li,Juanjuan Yang,Bin Tang,Xinyi Xiao,Xiao Yan,Jing Zheng +9 more
TL;DR: The results indicated that renal function reduction was associated with a PAHs-metals mixture in a dose-dependent manner, and 1-hydroxynaphthalene and copper were the most predominant contributors to two families of pollutants.
