Two‐Step Sintering of Ceramics with Constant Grain‐Size, II: BaTiO3 and Ni–Cu–Zn Ferrite
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the preparation of bulk dense nanocrystalline BaTiO 3 and Ni-Cu-Zn ferrite ceramics using an unconventional two-step sintering strategy, which offers the advantage of not having grain growth while increasing density from about 75% to above 96%.
Improved reliability predictions in high permittivity dielectric oxide capacitors under high dc electric fields with oxygen vacancy induced electromigration
Clive A. Randall,Russell A. Maier,Weiguo Qu,Keisuke Kobayashi,Keisuke Kobayashi,Koichiro Morita,Youichi Mizuno,N. Inoue,N. Inoue,T. Oguni +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, a non-linear HALT model is proposed to account for a critical ionic space charge accumulation preceded by the ionic hopping or electromigration of oxygen vacancies leading to an ultimate increase in leakage current typical of dielectric resistance degradation.

Band-gap nonlinearity in perovskite structured solid solutions
TL;DR: In this article, the role of high temperature phase equilibria on the band-gap compositional trends of ABO3 perovskites has been investigated through an optical absorption with a UV-spectroscopy.

Influence of long-range cation order on relaxor properties of doped Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3 ceramics
TL;DR: In this paper, the 1:1 $B$-site cation order in partially ordered and disordered ceramics was determined from x-ray diffraction data in these partially ordered samples and the average cation ordering parameter was about 0.3--0.4.

Compositional disorder, polar nanoregions and dipole dynamics in Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-based relaxor ferroelectrics
Alexei A. Bokov,Brian J. Rodriguez,Xiaohui Zhao,Jae-Hyeon Ko,Stephen Jesse,Xifa Long,Weiguo Qu,Tae Hyun Kim,John D. Budai,Anna N. Morozovska,Seiji Kojima,Xiaoli Tan,Sergei V. Kalinin,Zuo-Guang Ye +13 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors analyzed and discussed the results of their recent inves- tigations of the morphology of CORs and the dynamics of PNRs in Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-based solid solutions in which the degree of compositional disorder was varied by means of changing the composition and/or by using high-tem perature annealing.
