Two-stage robust optimization for space heating loads of buildings in integrated community energy systems
Chenghan Zhou,Hongjie Jia,Xiaolong Jin,Yunfei Mu,Xiaodan Yu,Xian Dong Xu,Binghui Li,Weichen Sun +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a two-stage robust optimization method for buildings' space heating loads (SHLs) in an integrated community energy system (ICES) is proposed, where a bi-level optimization is deployed to formulate the hierarchical relationship between the ICES operator and consumers in buildings to enable the optimal heating pricing strategy between them.

Numerical simulation of the fluid-solid coupling mechanism of water and mud inrush in a water-rich fault tunnel
TL;DR: In this article , a 3D coupled computational fluid dynamics (CFD)-discrete element method (DEM) model was developed by coupling two software programs, ABAQUS and PFC3D, to solve problems related to fluid-solid interaction systems.

Recent Advances in Multiscale Digital Rock Reconstruction, Flow Simulation, and Experiments during Shale Gas Production
Yongmei Yang,Fugui Liu,Qi Zhang,Yingwen Li,Ke Wang,Jiangshan Yang,Zhenxiao Shang,Junming Liu,Jinlei Wang,Ziwei Liu,Huaisen Song,Weichen Sun,Jiawei Li,Jun Yao +13 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors reviewed the recent advances in off-the-shelf methods and processes and presented a hand for the research in this field, which is precise and realistic to investigate the shale gas flow at the pore scale considering the desorption, surface diffusion and slippage in nanopores.

Positive Solutions for Boundary Value Problems of Singular Fractional Differential Equations
TL;DR: In this article, the existence of a positive solution to the singular fractional boundary value problem was investigated by using a fixed point theorem, where the singular at the value 0 of its arguments satisfies the Lipschitz condition.
Mussel-inspired self-healing hydrogel form pectin and cellulose for hemostasis and diabetic wound repairing.
TL;DR: In this paper , a biodegradable self-healing hydrogel with mussel inspired bioadhesion and anti-oxidation properties is fabricated based on Schiff-base cross-linking.
