Enzymatic characterization, molecular dynamics simulation, and application of a novel Bacillus licheniformis laccase
Tao Li,Hongbin Wang,Jingwen Li,Luying Jiang,Hongwei Kang,Zehui Guo,Chen Wang,Wei Yang,Fufeng Liu,Fuping Lu,Yihan Liu +10 more
TL;DR: A new laccase gene from newly isolated Bacillus licheniformis TCCC 111219 was actively expressed in Escherichia coli and exhibited a high stability towards a wide pH range and high temperatures, which suggested its high potential in industrial applications to decolorize textile dyeing effluent.

Transcriptomic Analysis of the Influence of Methanol Assimilation on the Gene Expression in the Recombinant Pichia pastoris Producing Hirudin Variant 3.
TL;DR: It is proposed that the up-regulated central carbon metabolism, energy, and amino acid metabolism should be beneficial for methanol assimilation, which would accordingly improve the production of HV3.

The heterologous expression, characterization, and application of a novel laccase from Bacillus velezensis.
Tao Li,Lin Huang,Yanzhen Li,Zehua Xu,Xiuqi Ge,Yuanfu Zhang,Nan Wang,Shuang Wang,Wei Yang,Fuping Lu,Yihan Liu +10 more
TL;DR: The optimal temperature and pH for recombinant laccase (rLac) were 80°C and 5.5, respectively, in the case of the substrate 2,2′-azino-bis (3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) (ABTS) as discussed by the authors.
