Thermal performance of direct-flow coaxial evacuated-tube solar collectors with and without a heat shield
TL;DR: In this article, a test system to evaluate the thermal performance of medium-temperature solar collectors was developed, and the experimental analysis showed the evacuated-tube solar collector performed better with a heat shield, especially at higher working temperatures.

Solar Thermal System Evaluation in China
TL;DR: In this paper, the baseline for performance and economic evaluation of solar thermal systems is presented based on the site test data and related references, and an index used to evaluate STSs is selected, and methods to acquire the parameters used to calculate the related index were set.
A Solar Heating and Cooling System in a Nearly Zero-Energy Building: A Case Study in China
TL;DR: In this paper, a nearly zero-energy building, incorporating a solar heating and cooling system, was designed and built in Beijing, China, which included a 35.17 kW cooling (10-RT) absorption chiller, an evacuated tube solar collector with an aperture area of 320.6
Measurement Uncertainty Analysis Based on the Thermal Performance Test Facility for Solar Water Heater
TL;DR: In this paper, the measurement uncertainty analysis of daily useful heat gain and average heat loss coefficient of the tank have been performed based on the test data from the solar water heater thermal performance test facility.
Experimental investigation of the higher coefficient of thermal performance for water-in-glass evacuated tube solar water heaters in China
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors tested the performance of more than 1000 water-in-glass evacuated tube SWHs according to Chinese standards and found that the heat loss from the storage tank and capacity of the solar collector affected their thermal performance.
