El artículo tiene como objetivo evaluar el nivel de desarrollo de la capacidad de absorción realizada (RACAP) en las Pyme colombianas. Se parte de una muestra de 363 Pyme colombianas (Dane,2012), se usa una revisión de literatura con apoyo del análisis de contenido y un modelo de regresión lineal, que permiten mostrar la existencia de una correlación lineal positiva entre la adquisición y asimilación del conocimiento externo en las organizaciones objeto de estudio,. In this study, we examined the role that knowledge sharing plays in mediating the relationship between the employee trust in leadership and employee innovation in the service sector in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). We included 346 people employed in the service industry. According to the study’s findings, having faith in one’s leader has a beneficial and discernibly positive impact on the degree to which employees share their knowledge and innovate. Knowledge sharing has a positive and substantial effect on the creativity of employees, and vice versa. According to the study’s findings, the openness of leaders partially mediates the willingness of employees to try new things and share information, which is a consequence of the trust that employees have in their leaders and their willingness to experiment with new concepts.

Limiting factors of open innovation organizations: A case of social product development and research agenda

ABSTRACT In today’s digital era, the paradoxical leadership (PXL) style is in vogue due to its ability to drive employee behavior within an organization. Drawing on the leader-member exchange and social exchange theories, this study investigates the link between PXL with work engagement (ENG) and employee voice behavior (EVB) by means of perceived organizational support (POS). The current study also explores work environment (ENV) in the hotel setting as a moderator. Simple random sampling has been used to gather data from 493 employees working in five-star hotels in Sharm El-Sheikh. The partial least square (PLS)-structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis revealed that POS partially mediated the association of POS with ENG and EVB. Moreover, ENV helped strengthen the positive effects of POS on both ENG and EVB. The study concludes with beneficial contributions for researchers and practitioners in the context of hotel management.

Consequences of paradoxical leadership in the hotel setting: moderating role of work environment

The relationship between the development of memorial consumer experiences and the promotion of responsible consumer behavior is a highly sought-after area of research. This is especially true regarding the potential use of emerging technology solutions to enhance tourism services, improve customer smartness, predict responsible behavior, and increase customer satisfaction and loyalty. The purpose of this research is to investigate how the advancement of smart tourism experiences can promote responsible behavior among customers of tourism businesses and destinations. This chapter presents a systematic review of the literature on the interaction between tourism experience and responsible traveler behavior in the context of the transformation of responsible tourism through digital platforms.

Determinants of employee innovation: an open innovation perspective

In the context of low-carbon tour promotion, consumers lack the motivation to translate environmental awareness into practical action; moreover, it is unclear which form of promotion is the most effective for travel agencies. Thus, this study considers consumers' preference for low-carbon promotion as an entry point and adopts the best-worst scaling method to analyze their preference characteristics. In addition, it introduces a heuristic-systematic model to analyze the influence of consumer preferences on travel agency image and low-carbon tourism behavior intention. The results show that consumer preferences are deconstructed into different types of tourism experiences according to heuristic and systematic paths, such that they create a positive effect on image evaluation and behavioral intentions. This study reveals the significance of consumer preference in low-carbon tour promotion scenarios, which helps break the promotion deadlock and promote tourism enterprises to optimize their service design.
