TL;DR: The diversity and heavy metal tolerance of endophytic fungi (EF) associated with Dysphania ambrosioides, a hyperaccumulator from two Pb–Zn contaminated sites were investigated and two isolates exhibited better HM tolerance, which may have potential application in phytoremediation.
