Evolution of Surface Sensible Heat over the Tibetan Plateau Under the Recent Global Warming Hiatus
TL;DR: Based on regular surface meteorological observations and NCEP/DOE reanalysis data, the authors investigates the evolution of surface sensible heat (SH) over the central and eastern Tibetan Plateau (CE-TP) under the recent global warming hiatus.

Elevation-dependent sensible heat flux trend over the Tibetan Plateau and its possible causes
TL;DR: In this article, the elevation-dependent sensible heat (SH) flux trend over the Tibetan Plateau (TP) was investigated and it was shown that the SH variation associated with the change in Ts-Ta may be influenced primarily by the diminution in sunshine duration and snow depth at higher-altitude regions, and the latter is particularly important.

Differences in atmospheric heat source between the Tibetan Plateau–South Asia region and the southern Indian Ocean and their impacts on the Indian summer monsoon outbreak
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the characteristics of the atmospheric heat source/sink (AHSS) over South Asia (SA) and southern Indian Ocean (SIO) and their influence on the outbreak of the Indian summer monsoon (ISM) are explored.
