The crucial importance of innovation leadership for high technology small and medium-size enterprises (SMEs) has been suggested in the literature. However, few studies empirically examined the impact of leadership style on innovation work behavior (IWB) of employees in the context of SMEs. Furthermore, our knowledge is limited about how leaders of high technology SMEs influence the IWB of their employees. The present study explores the effect of entrepreneurial leadership on IWB of employees and introduces creative self-efficacy and support for innovation as the mechanisms through which the leaders encourage their employees' IWB in information and communications technology (ICT) SMEs in Iran.,The sample was selected from high technology ICT SMEs using the simple random sampling method and included 175 CEOs and owner-managers of the businesses. We used validated questionnaires to test the hypothesized relationships between entrepreneurial leadership, IWB, creative self-efficacy and support for innovation.,The findings show that entrepreneurial leadership has a significant and positive impact on IWB of employees in ICT SMEs. Furthermore, employees’ creative self-efficacy and leaders’ support for innovation mediate the relationship between entrepreneurial leadership and IWB. Implications of the results and suggestions for developing IWB among the employees of high technology SMEs are suggested.,The study makes important contributions to both entrepreneurial leadership and the innovation behavior literature and theory development specifically in high technology SMEs in the transitioning economy of Iran. The findings also contribute to the existing empirical studies on how entrepreneurial leadership affects IWB of employees by examining the mediating role of creative self-efficacy and support for innovation and in the settings of ICT high technology SMEs.

This paper seeks to find factors that influence the growth intention of female-owned small businesses in the Ghana’s tourism sector The purpose of this paper is to investigate why some female entrepreneurs achieve growth objectives while others do not,In this study, the authors seek to understand the growth intention within the tourism sector because it is not clear why some female entrepreneurs in Ghana pursue growth The study applies quantitative techniques A questionnaire survey was conducted with 110 female tourism entrepreneurs in Ghana Data analysis was conducted using the non-parametric procedures of Spearman’s rank correlation,The findings of this research reveal that female tourism entrepreneurs in Ghana feel they can expand without entrepreneurial ability(ies) However, the growth of the venture is restricted by the lack of financial resources Opportunities in the tourism sector do generate more customers, but cannot alone determine growth intentions Furthermore, an important finding of this study is that business advisory services do not contribute significantly to the growth intention of the venture The research made clear that the pursuance of growth is related to different types of opportunities and finance leveraging,The study has gender-specific, industry-specific, size-specific and region-specific limitations Another limitation is focus on entrepreneurial ability, opportunity and business advisory support services as determinants of female entrepreneurs’ growth intention,This study provides useful information for government, business agencies and academics seeking reasons on why female entrepreneurs have low growth intentions Policy measures are provided in assisting women in achieving their growth aspirational needs and suggestions are recommended to encourage women to grow their small tourism businesses,The research will contribute to improve the socio-economic status of women entrepreneurs in Africa,This paper addresses an under-researched area of female tourism entrepreneurs and their growth intention from the perspective of a developing country such as Ghana

Determinants of female entrepreneurs growth intentions: A case of female-owned small businesses in Ghana’s tourism sector

Universities within the tertiary education system perform an imperative job in developing the high-level researchers, specialists, scientists and professionals, required by the economy. World-class University is a need of today. The development of a world-class university requires strong leadership as it has widespread effects on the overall performance of the university. This research
focused on the improvement of university leadership based on issues and problems related to it. In this regard, the study explored the effects of managerial competency, self-efficacy and learning orientation as predictors of university leaders’ job performance to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency. The notion of entrepreneurial leadership has received a somewhat little concentration in the tertiary education leadership studies. So the study proposed and analysed the mediating effect of entrepreneurial leadership through which university leaders can improve
their job performance. In addition to that moderating effect of the dynamic environment was also examined on the above-stated relationships. The research used a quantitative method through survey instrument and 242 usable questionnaires were collected from the leaders of public higher education institutions of Punjab, Pakistan. Partial Least Squares (PLS) was employed to analyse the data. Results showed support for the theoretical model that was studied. The results implied that
managerial competency, self-efficacy, and learning orientation are linked with performance. The mediating process was also empirically justified, but the moderating effect of the dynamic environment was not found on the proposed model.
The study has validation for a theoretical framework to trigger the future research and theory on edifying university leadership and to comprehend how such leadership develop and has significance for effective job performance. By summarising the
results of this research and building a link to its useful applications the study is also useful and has importance for policy makers, academicians and practitioners for further improving and developing university leadership.

Factors determining perceived job performance of University leaders in Pakistan

Innovation is fundamental to organizations' growth, consolidation and success, boosting competitiveness and productivity and facilitating adaptation to changes and market volatility. Based on an in-depth literature review, this article outlines the importance of innovation and presents three fundamental types: radical, incremental, and disruptive. Radical innovation involves significant changes in products, services, or processes, resulting in a drastic transformation in the industry. On the other hand, incremental innovation focuses on continuous and progressive improvements, optimizing operations and performance. Finally, disruptive innovation introduces solutions that disrupt and displace existing ones, creating new markets and transforming industries. The conclusions highlight the relevance of each type of innovation based on the specific needs of organizations and the importance of adopting appropriate strategies to promote sustainable growth and competitive advantage. The study findings found that innovation is essential for the progress and survival of companies, and understanding and correctly applying the different types of the invention is vital to achieving success in a business environment where the only constant changes.

An approach to the concepts of radical, incremental and disruptive innovation in organizations

Entrepreneurial Self Efficacy (ESE) has gained immense importance in the past few years in the field of entrepreneurship. The focus of this study is to test the effect of each of the five dimensions of ESE and understand their importance in connection with firms’ performance. This study was carried out among small businesses entrepreneurs in Pakistan and a valid sample of 353 entrepreneurs was selected for this purpose. A survey technique was used for data collection and AMOS was used for data analysis. In line with expectation, the analysis concluded a significant positive relationship between ESE dimensions and performance of small businesses. It was also concluded that the Risk dimension of ESE contributes majorly in the improvement of firms’ performance whereas the financial control dimension of ESE contribution was least. It is also suggested that all five dimensions of ESE are important to achieve desirable performance outcomes.
