Heterologous expression and characterization of glycoside hydrolase with its potential applications in hyperthermic environment
Muhammad Mustafa,Muhammad Mustafa,Liaqat Ali,Waqar Islam,Ali Noman,Chengzeng Zhou,Linsong Shen,Taoting Zhu,Liu Can,Omaima Nasif,Kristina Gasparovic,Farooq Latif,Jiangtao Gao +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, a glycoside hydrolase gene of Thermotoga maritima (Tma) was heterologously expressed and characterized, and the gene was placed in the pQE-30 expression vector under the T5 promotor, and then successfully integrated into Escherichia coli BL21 (DH5α) genome by transformation.

Molecular identification of seven new Zygopteran genera from South China through partial cytochrome oxidase subunit I (COI) gene
Saiful Islam,Muhammad Arif,Wenzhong Lin,Waqar Islam,Muhammad Qasim,Hussain Ali,Habib Ali,Khalid Ali Khan,Hamed A. Ghramh,Zhenguo Du,Zujian Wu +10 more
TL;DR: The presented results showed a higher diversity of damselflies in the south China regions and significant genetic diversity was found for all sequences at 346 mutations confirmed by two tests, Tajima's D and Fu's Fs.

Role of powdery mildew in the behavior of parasitoid: A case study using whiteflies and Encarsia formosa on tomato plants
Muhammad Qasim,Liande Wang,Khalid Ali Khan,Ali Noman,Waqar Islam,Ijaz Haider,Zakia A. Jamal,Hamed A. Ghramh +7 more
TL;DR: In this article , the impact of powdery mildew (Oidium neolycopersici) on plant-non-vector herbivore-parasitoid interactions, e.g., tomato plants, whiteflies (Trialeurodes vaporariorum) and parasitoid (Encarsia formosa), was assessed.
