Safety and efficacy outcomes after intranasal administration of neural stem cells in cerebral palsy: a randomized phase 1/2 controlled trial
Zhongyue Lv,Ying Li,Yachen Wang,Fengyu Cong,Xiaoyan Li,Wanming Cui,Chao Han,Yushan Wei,Xiaojun Hong,Yong Liu,Lu-yi Ma,Yang Jiao,Chi Zhang,Huanjie Li,Mingyan Jin,Liang-Mou Wang,Shiwei Ni,Jing Hui Liu +17 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors evaluated the safety and efficacy of intranasal infusion of NSCs in children with cerebral palsy (CP), and the functional brain network analysis based on electroencephalogram (EEG) and voxel-based morphometry (VBM) analysis was performed to evaluate functional and structural changes in the brain.

Effect evaluation of repeated debridement after endoscopic sinus surgery.
Lin Shi,Ya Feng,Wanming Cui,Kaisheng Yan,Mei Lv,Zhijun Hong,Mingyu Wang,Lijie Zhai,Haolin Wang +8 more
TL;DR: Benefit of frequent debridement during the early postoperative was not in positive correlation with patients recovering from ESS, and appropriate extending postoperative management time and decreasing intervention frequencies will not affect the therapeutic effect of endoscopic surgery for chronic sinusitis.

Long‑term treatment with salicylate enables NMDA receptors and impairs AMPA receptors in C57BL/6J mice inner hair cell ribbon synapse.
TL;DR: Meltdown of pre- and post-ribbon synapses may indicate a competitive inhibition between NMDAR and α-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoxa-zole-propionate receptors and dysfunction of ribbon synapses.
Risk factors of arytenoid dislocation after endotracheal intubation: A propensity‐matched analysis
Xiangyu Kong,Yang Song,Lijun Wang,Guili He,Changhong Ma,Rui Zhao,Minjun Wang,Lin Shi,Wanming Cui +8 more
TL;DR: Arytenoid dislocation after general anesthesia with endotracheal intubation (EI) is an iatrogenic injury that impairs patient function and requires reduction as discussed by the authors.

Decreased levels of superoxide dismutase in inner pillar cells contribute to ribbon synapse impairment in presbycusis.
TL;DR: The study revealed that age-related hearing loss (ARHL) of C57BL/6J mice was caused by multi-site degeneration in the cochlea, consistent with changes in the hearing threshold.
