The Protective Effects of Apigenin Against Radiation‐Induced Intestinal Injury
D. Liu,Ren-How Peng,Zhongmin Chen,Huijie Yu,Sinian Wang,Su-he Dong,Wei Li,Wen-ping Shao,Jing Dai,Fengsheng Li,Qisheng Jiang,Wanjun Sun +11 more
TL;DR: It is reported that the apigenin, a natural dietary flavone, prolonged the survival in c57 mice after lethal irradiation and has the potential to be used as a radioprotectant in cancer therapy and nuclear accidents.

Autologous bone marrow stem cell transplantation for the treatment of ulcerative colitis complicated with herpes zoster: a case report
Hang Xiang,Xiao-Mei Zhang,Chao Yang,Wen-Huan Xu,Xin Ge,Rong Zhang,Ya Qiu,Wanjun Sun,Fan Li,Tianyuan Xiang,Haixu Chen,Zheng Wang,Qiang Zeng +12 more
TL;DR: After the patient underwent auto bone marrow mononuclear cells transplantations twice, the patient’s symptoms were alleviated, and he recovered from hematochezia, and his hypersensitive C reactive protein decreased.

Prognostic risk analysis related to radioresistance genes in colorectal cancer
Haoren Qin,Heng Zhang,Haipeng Li,Qiong Xu,Wanjun Sun,Shiwu Zhang,Xipeng Zhang,Siwei Zhu,Hui Wang +8 more
TL;DR: In this article , a radioresistant colorectal cancer cell line was developed from the parental HCT116 cell by a stepwise increased dose of irradiation, and differentially gene analysis was performed using cellular transcriptome data to identify genes associated with radioresistance, from which extracellular matrix (ECM) and cell adhesion-related genes were screened.
Manganese Superoxide Dismutase Gene-Modified Mesenchymal Stem Cells Attenuate Acute Radiation-Induced Lung Injury.
Haixu Chen,Hang Xiang,Wen-Huan Xu,Ming Li,Jie Yuan,Juan Liu,Wanjun Sun,Rong Zhang,Jun Li,Zhao-Qi Ren,Xiao-Mei Zhang,Bin Du,Jun Wan,Ben-Yan Wu,Qiang Zeng,Kunlun He,Chao Yang +16 more
TL;DR: Evaluated manganese superoxide dismutase (MnSOD) gene-modified mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) were effective in modulating RILI in mice and had great potential for accelerating from bench to bedside.
