Cloning and characterization of full-length coding sequence (CDS) of the ovine 37/67-kDa laminin receptor (RPSA).
Junwen Qiao,Xiao-Ou Su∗,Wang Yiqin,Jianmin Yang,Mohammed Kouadir,Xiangmei Zhou,Xiaomin Yin,Deming Zhao +7 more
TL;DR: Multiple-tissues RT-PCR results revealed that 37/67-kDa LRP/LR mRNA is expressed in all the 11 selected ovine tissues, and prediction of protein secondary structure indicated that PAAs at residues 241, 270 and 272 may cause protein conformation changes as predicted, which may affect on the binding with prion protein.

Variable levels of 37-kDa/67-kDa laminin receptor (RPSA) mRNA in ovine tissues: potential contribution to the regulatory processes of PrPSc propagation?
Junwen Qiao,Xiao-Ou Su∗,Yu-xing Li,Jianmin Yang,Wang Yiqin,Mohammed Kouadir,Xiangmei Zhou,Lifeng Yang,Xiaomin Yin,Deming Zhao +9 more
TL;DR: The observation that differences in LRP/LR mRNA expression levels are consistent with the corresponding variation in PrPSc accumulation suggests that the 37-k Da/67-kDa laminin receptor may be involved in the regulation of PrP Sc propagation.

Sequence analysis of the prion protein gene in Mongolian gazelles ( Procapra gutturosa )
TL;DR: The sequence and polymorphisms of the prion protein gene of Mongolian gazelles will assist the study of prion disease pathogenesis, resistance, and cross species transmission.

Recombined bovine prion protein (bPrP), and preparation method and application thereof
Lifeng Yang,Zhao Deming,Yang Xiujin,Wang Yiqin,Zhiqi Song,Xiangmei Zhou,Xiaomin Yin,Huafen Zhao +7 more
- 16 Jan 2013
TL;DR: In this article, a recombined bovine prion protein (bPrP) with identical amino acid sequence was used for exploring a monoclonal antibody of the bovINE prion proteins.
