TL;DR: The risk of CVD increases with BP continuously from BP of 110/75 mmHg, therefore, the cutpoint of the diagnostic criteria for hypertension is arbitrary and comprehensive intervention for multiple risk factor clustering should be strengthened to reduce the overall risk ofCVD.

[Current clinical practice patterns and outcome for acute coronary syndromes in China: results of BRIG project.].
TL;DR: There is a big gap between guidelines and current management of ST segment elevation ACS in China, especially in secondary hospitals, and Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that age >/= 75 years, hypertension, diabetes, reperfusion, aspirin, beta-blocker and ACE/ARB inhibitor use were associated independently with in-hospital mortality.

Impact of cerebrovascular disease mortality on life expectancy in China.
TL;DR: Cerebrovascular disease mortality had a major impact on life expectancy in China in 2010, with a significant difference between urban and rural residents, and LE is likely to be further increased by reducing cerebrov vascular disease mortality.
