TL;DR: In this paper, a toxic ligand free electrochemistry regulated atom transfer radical polymerization method was proposed, in which no any toxic ligands are used, and five reactions raw materials namely monomers, a catalyst, an initiator, an electrolyte, and a solvent are mixed to make the monomers carry out atom transferradical polymerization reactions to generate corresponding polymers.

TL;DR: In this paper, a sulfydryl-Michael addition reaction is carried out for preparing polymer electrolytes, where the main catalyst is used for capturing protons on the sulfydriesryl groups of the first reactant to form thioalcohol negative ions, and the negative ions are used for attacking electron-deficiency double bonds in the second reactant; metal salt serves as the cocatalyst, so that the electron cloud density of the double bonds of acrylate is lowered.
