The invention discloses a multipath control method for visible light communications, which is applied to a control terminal. The method comprises: performing cyclic redundancy check operations on a to-be-transmitted original data packet; adding the operation generated verification code to the tail of the original data packet to obtain a first data packet; adding a control byte with a preset length to the head part of the first data packet to obtain a second data packet wherein the control byte is used to indicate the number of the control paths of a visible light control signal; performing code conversion to the second data packet according to a preset code conversion rule; using the data packet after the code conversion as a third data packet; adding an identification byte used to mark the visible light source to the head part of the third data packet to obtain a final data packet; and loading the final data packet onto the current driver of the visible light source to drive the visible light source to produce a light signal. The invention also discloses a multipath control device and a system for visible light communications. With the invention, the complexity of a visible light communication system is reduced and the expandability of the visible light communication system is increased.
