This paper proposes three ILP-based static thermal-aware mapping algorithms for 3D Networks on Chip (NoC) to explore the thermal constraints and their effects on temperature and performance. Through complexity analysis, we show that the first algorithm, an optimal one, is not suitable for 3D NoC. Therefore, we develop two approximation algorithms and analyze their algorithmic complexities to show their proficiency. As the simulation results show, the mapping algorithms that employ direct thermal calculation to minimize the temperature reduce the peak temperature by up to 24% and 22%, for the benchmarks that have the highest communication rate and largest number of tasks, respectively. This comes at the price of a higher power-delay product. This exploration shows that considering power balancing early in the mapping algorithms does not affect the chip temperature. Moreover, it shows that considering the explicit performance constraint in the thermal mapping has no major effect on performance.

Exploration of Temperature Constraints for Thermal Aware Mapping of 3D Networks on Chip

Trust and reputation are important factors that influence the success of both traditional transactions in physical social networks and modern e-commerce in virtual Internet environments. It is difficult to define the concept of trust and quantify it because trust has both subjective and objective characteristics at the same time. A well-reported issue with reputation management system in business-to-consumer (BtoC) e-commerce is the “all good reputation” problem. In order to deal with the confusion, a new computational model of reputation is proposed in this paper. The ratings of each customer are set as basic trust score events. In addition, the time series of massive ratings are aggregated to formulate the sellers’ local temporal trust scores by Beta distribution. A logical model of trust and reputation is established based on the analysis of the dynamical relationship between trust and reputation. As for single goods with repeat transactions, an iterative mathematical model of trust and reputation is established with a closed-loop feedback mechanism. Numerical experiments on repeated transactions recorded over a period of 24 months are performed. The experimental results show that the proposed method plays guiding roles for both theoretical research into trust and reputation and the practical design of reputation systems in BtoC e-commerce.

Closed-loop feedback computation model of dynamical reputation based on the local trust evaluation in business-to-consumer e-commerce

E-commerce is becoming the main shopping way. The trust decision-making is the most important factor which decides whether the transaction is successful or not. How to offer people an accurate and objective trust is a basic issue that scholars must face and solve. Volatility can measure the stability of a set of data and help us avoid risk to some extent. In order to prevent fraud and deception, this paper proposes a trust evaluation fluctuation model based on historical rating data. A new reward and punishment mechanism is added into the model. The results of simulation experiments prove the practicality and validity of the model.

A trust evaluation fluctuation model in the e-commerce

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are the economic drivers most resistant to the economic crisis in Indonesia. Nationally, SMEs now have a roadmap of electronic electronic commerce system (Road Map E-Commerce) from 2017 to 2019. For some SME businesses in Bangka Belitung decided to change the transaction pattern from conventional transactions to electronic transactions. The process of making the decision to change the business transactions of SMEs into electronic-based (e-commerce) is strongly influenced by many factors. Thus the decision-making process for using e-commerce for SMEs becomes multicriteria factor. To support multicriteria retrieval of this factor then this research using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Multi-factor criteria are 22.6% technology advantage, 21% web design excellence, 13.6% payment excellence, 11.7% promotion advantage, 10.9% customer advantage, 7.8% promotion advantage, excellence, risk 6.7%, and 5.7% weakness. While the type of e-commerce of the highest B2C of 24.2%. These results provide information to the Department of Industry and Trade of Bangka Belitung in collaboration with the Office of Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises of Bangka Belitung to further focus on improving the training and assistance of SMEs to master internetbased marketing technology

Workflows have been successfully applied to express the decomposition of complex scientific applications. This has motivated many initiatives that have been developing scientific workflow tools. However the existing tools still lack adequate support to important aspects namely, decoupling the enactment engine from workflow tasks specification, decentralizing the control of workflow activities, and allowing their tasks to run autonomous in distributed infrastructures, for instance on Clouds. Furthermore many workflow tools only support the execution of Direct Acyclic Graphs (DAG) without the concept of iterations, where activities are executed millions of iterations during long periods of time and supporting dynamic workflow reconfigurations after certain iteration. We present the AWARD (Autonomic Workflow Activities Reconfigurable and Dynamic) model of computation, based on the Process Networks model, where the workflow activities (AWA) are autonomic processes with independent control that can run in parallel on distributed infrastructures, e. g. on Clouds. Each AWA executes a Task developed as a Java class that implements a generic interface allowing end-users to code their applications without concerns for low-level details. The data-driven coordination of AWA interactions is based on a shared tuple space that also enables support to dynamic workflow reconfiguration and monitoring of the execution of workflows. We describe how AWARD supports dynamic reconfiguration and discuss typical workflow reconfiguration scenarios. For evaluation we describe experimental results of AWARD workflow executions in several application scenarios, mapped to a small dedicated cluster and the Amazon (Elastic Computing EC2) Cloud.

Autonomic Workflow Activities: The AWARD Framework

Trust investigation in Business-To-Customer B2C E-commerce is usually based on analyzing relative compositions of B2C E-commerce, and mainly focuses on direct perceived trust of consumers. But in real B2C E-commerce, recommended trust of mature consumer is an important channel to enhance trust for a new consumer. A recommended trust evaluation method in B2C E-commerce is proposed based on fuzzy analytic hierarchy process. Firstly, compositions that affect online trust in B2C electronic-commerce are analyzed comprehensively. An individual trust evaluation system is established. Furthermore, for a new consumer, using trust evaluations of multiple mature consumers that he/she is familiar with, the study adopts fuzzy analytic hierarchy process to build composite recommended trust evaluation method. Finally, the proposed recommended trust evaluation method is applied to evaluate recommended trust of real B2C online shopping. It simulates the process of trust evaluating of a new consumer and illustrates the validity of proposed recommended trust evaluation method.
