Changes in epidemiologic features of testicular germ cell cancer: Age at diagnosis and relative frequency of seminoma are constantly and significantly increasing
TL;DR: There is evidence of a significant shift toward older age at diagnosis of GCT, and the proportion of seminoma is constantly increasing at the expense of nonseminoma.

The Search for Biomarkers of Metastatic Seminoma
Christian Ruf,N. Khalili-Harbi,S. Sachs,Hendrik Isbarn,Walter Wagner,Cord Matthies,V. Meineke,M. Fisch,Felix K.-H. Chun,Michael Abend +9 more
TL;DR: New biomarkers of metastatic seminoma were identified and previously described risk factors were validated and further prospective studies of these novel parameters are warranted to verify the findings and to explore a potential use for detecting occult metastases.

Prediction of metastatic status in non-seminomatous testicular cancer.
Christian Ruf,S. Sachs,N. Khalili-Harbi,Hendrik Isbarn,Walter Wagner,Cord Matthies,V. Meineke,M. Fisch,Felix K.-H. Chun,Michael Abend +9 more
TL;DR: No single parameter was able to discriminate metastatic from non-metastatic NSGCT, but combinations of parameters in two predictive models accurately identified the metastatic status in 23 % of the cases in the authors' sample.

TL;DR: It is plausible that Cd and/or As may have an impact on NSCLC development and additional studies examining the prevalence and association between smokers and nonsmokers are suggested.
