Hot Gas Removal of Tars, Ammonia, and Hydrogen Sulfide from Biomass Gasification Gas
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors review the applications of basic, acidic, metallic, and redox catalysts for the removal of such byproducts and research strategies to prevent coke accumulation on the catalytic surface, to increase the resistance to sulfur poisoning and to bring the byproduct removal reactions to temperatures below 600°C.

CO hydrogenation on lanthana and vanadia doubly promoted Rh/SiO2 catalysts
TL;DR: In this paper, the combined promoting effect of lanthana and vanadia oxides for ethanol formation during CO hydrogenation on silica-supported Rh catalysts was investigated using a differential fixed bed reactor at 230°C and 1.8 atm.

Ammonia decomposition on tungsten carbide
TL;DR: In this article, a detailed study of NH 3 decomposition on tungsten carbide (WC) was performed for a commercial Fe ammonia synthesis catalyst (Amomax-10), which showed rapid partial deactivation following an induction period with a steady-state conversion of only 35% at 650°C and the space velocity used.
