Sang-Ho Kim,Ralph Afanador,Debra Barnhart,M. Crofford,B. DeGraff,Marc Doleans,John D Galambos,S. W. Gold,M. Howell,John Mammosser,Christopher McMahan,T. Neustadt,Charles Peters,Jeffrey Saunders,W. Strong,D. J. Vandygriff,D. M. Vandygriff +16 more
TL;DR: The Spallation Neutron Source (SNS) has acquired extensive operational experience of a pulsed proton superconducting linear accelerator (SCL) as a user facility as mentioned in this paper.
Status and performance of the spallation neutron source superconducting linac
Isidoro E Campisi,S. Assadi,Fabio Casagrande,Mark Crofford,G. Dodson,John D Galambos,M. Giannella,S. Henderson,M. Howell,Yoon W. Kang,K. Kasemir,Sang-Ho Kim,Z. Kursun,P. Ladd,H. Ma,D. Stout,W. Strong,Yan Zhang,Mark Champion +18 more
- 25 Jun 2007
TL;DR: The Superconducting Linac at SNS has been operating with beam for almost two years and has been consistently conducted at 4.4 K and 10 and 15 pulses per second with some cryomodules tested at 30 and 60 Hz and some tests performed at 2 K as discussed by the authors.

- 16 May 2005
TL;DR: In this article, a superconducting cavity system specifically designed for 2.1 K operation has been extensively tested at 4.2 K without superfluid helium, which is the first time that such a cavity system has been used in the SNS tunnel.
