Spin determination from side-feeding excitation function of the nucleus 128Xe in the 125Te(α, nγ)128Xe and 126Te(α, 2nγ)128Xe reactions
TL;DR: In this article, the (α, χnγ) reaction was used to populate a large number of low and medium-spin states of the 128 Xe nucleus and a new method of spin determination from the excitation functions of the side feeding was presented.

Excited states in 125Xe
A. Granderath,D. Lieberz,A. Gelberg,S. Freund,W. Lieberz,R. Wirowski,P. von Brentano,Ramon Wyss +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, high-spin states of 125 Xe have been populated via the 116 Cd(13 C, 4n) reaction and were investigated by in-beam gamma-ray spectroscopy with the OSIRIS Compton-suppressed spectrometer.

F. Seiffert,Ronald Schwengner,G. Winter,L. Funke,W. Lieberz,R. Reinhardt,K. P. Schmittgen,D. Weil,R. Wrzal,K. O. Zell,P. von Brentano +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, the mean lifetimes of 12 levels have been determined applying Doppler-shift andγ-RF-methods using techniques of in-beamγ-ray spectroscopy in connection with the 70Ge(α, n) reaction.

Observation of superdeformation in the doubly closed-shell nucleus Gd 146
G. Hebbinghaus,T. Rzaca-Urban,C. Senff,R. M. Lieder,W. Gast,A. Krämer-Flecken,H. Schnare,W. Urban,G. de Angelis,P. Kleinheinz,W. Starzecki,J. Styczen,P. von Brentano,A. Dewald,J. Eberth,W. Lieberz,T. Mylaeus,A. v. d. Werth,Helmut Wolters,K. O. Zell,S. Heppner,H. Hübel,M. Murzel,H. Grawe,H. Kluge +24 more
TL;DR: Two-dimensional ..gamma..-ray energy correlations have been measured at high spins in /sup 146/Gd with the anti-Compton spectrometer array OSIRIS, suggesting a superdeformation with an axis ratio c/a = 1.7.

New excited states of the nucleus 129 Xe
Z. Zhao,J. Yan,A. Gelberg,R. Reinhardt,W. Lieberz,A. Dewald,R. Wirowski,K. O. Zell,P. von Brentano +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a spin assignment was made from side feeding excitation functions and a new level at 274.2keV, which is suggested as spin 9/2 negtive parity bandhead, was observed for the first time.
