Magnetic phases of a Heisenberg spin glass in strong magnetic fields: High field faraday rotation in Cd1−xMnxTe
TL;DR: In this article, high field Faraday rotation measurements are carried out on the Heisenberg spin glass system Cd 1− x Mn x Te for x = 0.55 and x =0.65.

Monte Carlo simulation of a Heisenberg spin glass in external magnetic fields: Cd0.45Mn0.55Te
H. Kett,W. Gebhardt,U. Krey +2 more
TL;DR: In this article, Monte Carlo simulations of a diluted Heisenberg spin system with antiferromagnetic nearest neighbor exchange interaction on an fcc-lattice have been performed.

Anomaly in dilatation, linear birefringence and susceptibility of NiO at 400 K
TL;DR: In this paper, thermal expansion, linear birefringence, and ac susceptibility of NiO are measured between room temperature and the Neel point, and all the measurements show a remarkably strong temperature dependence in the temperature range from 400 to 450 K. These anomalies are explained consistently by a change of the T-domain structure.

What can be learned from magnetooptic measurements
TL;DR: In this paper, the results of magnetic birefringence (LMB) measurements in 3d-metal flourides and related compounds are discussed and the analysis gives the g-factor of the excitonic state and the spin orbit coupling constant.
