Solar cooker with tracking-type bottom reflector: An experimental thermal performance evaluation of a new design
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a new design of solar cooker equipped with internal reflectors and a tracking-type bottom parabolic reflector (TBPR) which may help in achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs).

Performance evaluation of solar cooker with tracking type bottom reflector retrofitted with a novel design of thermal storage incorporated absorber plate
TL;DR: In this article , the thermal performance of a solar cooker with a tracking type bottom parabolic reflector (TBPR) retrofitted with a new design of absorber plate integrated with thermal storage is revealed.

Experimental and numerical investigation of thermal performance of a new design Solar Parabolic Dish Desalination System
TL;DR: In this paper , a new design of solar parabolic dish desalination system (SPDDS) was proposed and the experimental results of were compared to those numerical to validate the model using different levels of salt concentrations and brine masses.

A New Mode of a Natural Convection Solar Greenhouse Dryer for Domestic Usage: Performance Assessment for Grape Drying
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors proposed a controlled natural convection (CNC) drying mode using a solar greenhouse dryer (SGD) for drying grapes with two types of cover materials, glass and Plexiglas, through intermittent operation with a PV system to save energy as a simple and inexpensive domestic dryer instead of the common forced convection SGD and the conventional NCC SGD.

Quail manure as a supplementary feedstock to corn stover: Conjoint effect of alkaline pretreatment and co-digestion approaches on organics solubilization and methane yield
M. A. Tawfik,W. E. Abd Allah,at Jed Raful Zacarías Ezzat,M. T. Afify,Ahmed Mahdy +4 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a mixture of 50/50 with 2.5% NaOH pretreated corn stover was employed to overcome low carbon/nitrogen (C/N) ratio, recalcitrant nature, and enhancement methane production.
