Wir berichten uber den Fall einer 25-jahrigen Patientin mit rezidivierenden Schulterluxationen. Nach arthroskopischer Kapselraffung und -refixation kam es nach einem beschwerdefreien Intervall zu einem Rezidiv aufgrund eines Glenoiddefekts, der mittels arthroskopischer J-Span-Implantation versorgt wurde. Zwei Jahre nach Reoperation zeigten die klinischen Scores exzellente Ergebnisse. In den radiologischen Kontrollen war eine regelrechte Anlagerung und knocherne Integration des Implantats nachweisbar, die Patientin war beschwerdefrei und konnte ihren bisher ausgeubten sportlichen Aktivitaten uneingeschrankt nachkommen.
