TL;DR: Both poor SRH and SMC were associated with permanent NH placement risk among elderly primary care patients, however, when SMC was present a reverse association was found for SRH: good SRH increased NH placement.

TL;DR: Poriagnostic thrombocytosis was associated with advanced stage of gynecological cancer at diagnosis and increased all-cause and cancer-specific mortality, suggesting the platelet count may have an important role in diagnosis and post-diagnostic control of gy pelvic cancer.
